How we collect information

The website has been designed with only "essential" cookies that allow it to function in the way you expect.  There are no trackers or marketing cookies so visiting this site shouldn't mean you suddenly see it everywhere you look. For the exhaustive list of cookies we collect see our list of website cookies document.

We do use Google Analytics to improve our website and to understand which pages people like and don't like. Google Analytics doesn't give us information about who you are or which pages you visit.

Online purchases are processed by PayPal and Stripe, our e-commerce platform and we never have access to your credit card or bank information. Your payment details are encrypted and kept secure by PayPal.

When you buy from us, Paypal/Stripe emails us with contact information including your order, your name and email address, and delivery address, so that we can acknowledge your order and send your goods, and we record that information in our local sales records. Similarly, if you buy from us by email, messaging or telephone we keep a record of your purchase, email address, telephone number and address/delivery addresses.

Mailchimp collects and stores your email address when you sign up for our newsletters. This information is stored on the Mailchimp servers and is visible to us.

We use a Google Map embedded on our website to provide directions to the vineyard. Google may use details of your location in providing you with directions to us, and may use cookies, but this is not visible to us.

What information we hold

When you buy from us, we collect in our local records:  your purchase, your name, email address, phone number, home address and delivery address if different.

When you contact us by email or social media, the email records or messaging records on our local computers and mobile devices hold your name, email address, phone number if you have given it, social media username if you have used one, and the company you work for, if you've given us that.

If you sign up for our newsletters, your name and email address, although held by Mailchimp, are visible to us in our Mailchimp account.

If you do business with us, we hold your business name and bank account details and keep records of the invoices we send you and the payments you make and the invoices you send us and the payments we make.

What we use your information for

We use your information to help us get the things you order to you, we keep records to help us remember you, we keep records to monitor our business performance.

We will not use your information for direct marketing (unless otherwise requested, our newsletter for example) or pass your data on to any other party unless required to do so by law.
